Emergency funding for organisations supporting victims of domestic abuse or sexual violence

If you are an organisation who supports victims of domestic abuse or sexual violence in Sussex, you can apply for COVID-19 related emergency funding using this application form.

Funding is from 24th March 2020 to 31st October 2020 to meet the additional costs incurred, or will incur, whilst adapting services during the pandemic and/or to cope with demand increases resulting from it.

Please read the guidance to ensure that your funding application is suitable and appropriate. We are unable to provide funding to those that do not fit this criteria.

Applications must be returned to micha.dawes@sussex-pcc.gov.uk (cc in lucie.venables@sussex-pcc.gov.uk) by 5pm on 5th June 2020 with the organisations financial accounts.

Applications sent without accounts will NOT be counted.

Decisions will be made week of 8th June 2020 and all successful applicants will need to electronically sign a Grant Agreement detailing the applicable terms and conditions and provide copies of the documents stated in the application form (tab 3).

UK Government

The most up to date information and advice from the Government is available on their Coronavirus page. The current advice is:

Stay at home

  • Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (where this absolutely cannot be done from home)
  • Stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people
  • Wash your hands as soon as you get home

Do not meet others, even friends or family. You can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms.
